Embarking on our 21st Annual Leadership Conference, we continue to provide Raza youth with an experience unsurpassed in Colorado.
This year it is our honor to announce a new partnership that will enrich the learning experience for our participants. The La Raza Youth Leadership is partnering with The Rodolfo Corky Gonzales Symposium and will now offer an independent track of multi-media, student generated learning circles that will center on the concepts, philosophy and history of one of the Chicano Movement’s most dynamic leaders and personalities: Colorado’s own Rodolfo Corky Gonzales.
We believe it is essential to produce an event that offers Chicano/Mexicano/Latino youth the opportunity to take pride in themselves, their future and their culture. We encourage those of you that share this belief to become part of the steering committee, volunteer for the conference or support the conference monetarily. It is our hope the La Raza Youth Leadership Institute will continue to provide youth the opportunity to explore their culture, educational, and career aspirations long into the future. Moreover, we also hope that conference will plant the seeds of self-discovery, self-determination and a desire for learning in all the Chicano/Mexicano/Latino youth that attend.
