Saturday, April 28 at Auraria Campus

The La Raza Youth Leadership Conference has become one of the largest and most popular youth leadership conferences in the state. The event is made possible by a volunteer board, committees and 150 volunteers the day of the event. We are seeking volunteers to assist the day of the 21st Annual La Raza Youth Leadership Conference on April 28 from 7:30am to 4pm. Volunteers are needed for the following areas:

  • Conference Registration
  • Workshop Selection
  • Workshop Monitors
  • T-shirt Distribution
  • Building Guides
  • Accessibility Guides for Students with Disabilities
  • ASL Interpreters

The conference began in 1991 as a male youth conference. Today, the conference welcomes both female and male students. It has grown steadily over the years recruiting youth from throughout Colorado. This year’s 21st Annual conference will be hosted at the Auraria Campus, a tri-institutional campus located in downtown Denver. The 2011 conference welcomed approximately 1,600 participants.
